Our company history

Since 1898, we have been working as an owner-managed company to reliably return metals to the recycling cycle.

Our site in Flensburg covers over 178,000 m² of company space, employs more than 200 people, and uses state-of-the-art technology. Here, metals and scrap of all types and qualities are sorted, tested, and processed—not only for regional customers, but for markets worldwide.

From its first steps to the present day, Nord-Schrott has grown with experience, passion, and a commitment to sustainability. Tradition, experience, and a forward-looking approach go hand in hand.
