Sustainability has been an integral part of our corporate philosophy since 1898 and shapes our daily operations. As a recycling and waste management company, we make a significant contribution to keeping valuable raw materials within the circular economy and using resources responsibly.
We follow clear principles: We operate in an energy- and resource-efficient manner, rely on modern processing technologies and work in accordance with certified environmental and energy management standards.
Our work focuses on sorting, processing and refining ferrous and non-ferrous metals into high-quality secondary raw materials. Modern facilities and precise processes enable us to carry out these steps reliably and at a consistently high level of quality.
The effectiveness of recycling becomes particularly evident in one example: Producing aluminium from recycled material requires only about 5% of the energy needed for extraction from primary raw materials. This highlights the substantial contribution recycling makes to conserving natural resources.
